SOIL PICK – PNEUMATIC
A selective excavator that pulverises and displaces porous and semi-porous soils, leaving non-porous objects unaffected. Used as the safe alternative to spades, pickaxes, and crow-bars, it excavates soil without risk of damaging buried cables and pipework. By accelerating compressed air to supersonic speed (1500 mph), the high velocity air stream then travels approximately 100mm from the cutting edge before decompressing to atmospheric pressure with sufficient violence to pulverise and displace soil.
